Specialist Equipment

We work closely with clients, their family/carers and wider disciplinary team to identify any specialist equipment that may help to support participation in everyday activities.

Our occupational therapists are highly experienced in the assessment and prescription of equipment, and work closely with a range of equipment providers to support this process, keeping fully updated with latest developments in technology and equipment.

Specialist equipment includes:

• Seating
• Manual and powered wheelchairs
• Specialist beds
• Moving and handling equipment
• Sleep systems
• Bathing and showering
• Toileting

Our team has developed an equipment pathway, from assessment to planned preventative maintenance, with equipment reviews linked to clinical risk.
