Expert Care and Occupational Therapy Services

Personal Domestic Activities of Daily Living

An important role of the Occupational Therapist is the development of skills and independence in personal and domestic activities of daily living. Our expert assessment process will identify any equipment and adaptations required to maximise independence.

Learning to make a drink or simple snack can greatly increase a client’s confidence and independence. We have many years of experience working with clients and their carers to develop strategies around:

  • Personal care routines
  • Eating and drinking
  • Community skills
  • Money management
  • Food preparation
  • Sleep Hygiene

Our therapists support clients to restore or develop these skills at home, in the community and through supported independent living trials.

“What I like most about working with CPPS is that they are flexible to client need. Recommendations will be made in a report, but once they start working with the client they are led by that client’s goals, wants and wishes. I’d happily recommend the CPPS team.”
